# Webhook payloads

> Outbound webhook envelope, headers, and event catalog — interactive schemas for each event.

Outbound webhooks are HTTPS `POST`s CurbWaste sends to your URL. They are documented as OpenAPI **webhooks**, not REST `paths`, and are **not** authenticated with a Bearer API key.

## Shared envelope

Every delivery is JSON:

| Field | Meaning |
| - | - |
| `id` | Event id (`evt_…`) — use for idempotency |
| `type` | Event name (e.g. `customer.created`) |
| `createdAt` | When the event was emitted (ISO-8601) |
| `data` | Full profile for that resource |

| Header | Purpose |
| - | - |
| `X-CurbWaste-Signature` | `t=<unix>,s=<hex>` HMAC |
| `X-CurbWaste-Event-Id` | Same as envelope `id` |
| `X-CurbWaste-Event-Type` | Same as envelope `type` |
| `Content-Type` | `application/json` |
